Mahopac Middle School

On Monday March 23rd parents in grades 4 through 8 attended a presentation by Michael Nerney, a nationally renowned speaker on the subject of substance abuse prevention and adolescent brain development.  On Tuesday March 24th Mr. Nerney was able to connect with the 8th grade students in a manner that was entertaining as well as educational.  Titled “Teens, Tweens & Technology”, the presentation focused on the effects of social media and the use of cell phones on adolescent mental health.
